Los
Cabos (The Capes) is made up of the 2 cities
of San Jose del Cabo (the international
airport is just about 10 miles outside of
this city), Cabo San Lucas (which is the
southern most point on the Baja Peninsula)
and the 20 mile stretch of beautiful beach
front area in between the 2 cities called
the Corridor.
San
Jose is generally considered cleaner and
quieter still retaining its Mexican flavor.
There is a beautiful estuary that is actually
where the underground river that supplies
water to the area comes up and meets the
Sea of Cortez. There are also several very
good restaurants in centro (the center of
town) and there is an old municipal market
with a Mexican food court that has some
of the best traditional recipes that I have
ever had!
Cabo
San Lucas can be wild and crazy with the
marina and all of it's water activities
such as fishing, jet skis, parasailing,
etc and the wild night life with over 100
restaurants and bars.
